Pirate101 Worlds – Ranked

ratedheaderranked

Seeing as I’m about halfway done with Mooshu, I thought I’d take a moment to rank my favorite Pirate101 worlds so far. Let’s get to it!

(From best to worst)

Best – 1. Valencia

I loved the short time I spent in Valencia. One of the highlights for me was disguising myself as a clockwork to blend in. In addition, the (satisfyingly) creepy music really brought the world together and I adored the overall steampunk style. I’m really looking forward to going back there!

2. Mooshu

Pirate101’s Mooshu is everything I loved about Wizard101’s Mooshu (and then some). It’s vibrant, colorful, and the storyline is wonderful. Aiding a shady ally and participating in illegal activities? That’s not something you do everyday! Plus, I loved all the clever references (General Tso’s chicken!) and the ninja dungeon had me laughing pretty hard. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this world will hold!

3. Skull Island

Skull Island is the world that started it all! I thought Skull Island really captured a traditional pirate feel, but nothing huge stood out to me (which is why it’s ranked number 3). I definitely enjoyed playing through it though, and thought it was a great world to introduce new players to.

4. Monquista

Monquista had a lot of interesting characters with unique personalities. However, just like Skull Island, there weren’t any dungeons that really “wow-ed” me. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy it! Monquista was a pleasure to play through, I just had more fun in other worlds.

Worst – 5. Cool Ranch

I remember thinking that Cool Ranch was amazing when I first started questing there. The problem is, I thought it was too long. By the time the world was coming to an end, I had gotten sick of the western theme. It’s a shame too, because the Miranda dungeon is probably the most memorable one I’ve done so far. El Toro, Death, and the Magnificent Seven were all fantastic, but somewhere in the middle – Cool Ranch became more of a grind than it was fun.

That’s my list! How would you rank the Pirate101 worlds that you’ve played through? Let me know in the comments!
