Happy July! The temperature is rising, vacations are starting, and that means summer is fully upon us. If you’re looking for a fun and challenging way to spend your summer, you may want to check out the brand new community event, 1v1 Luau 2016. In this sizzling PvP tournament, your creativity will be put to the test with special rulesets that change each round!
Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know:
- 1v1 Luau is a family-friendly tournament. Hostility will not be tolerated, and they have many chat moderators, referees, and other staff members to ensure that it’s fun for everyone. I know a lot of people shy away from ranked PvP because it can be a bit cutthroat. If you want a more friendly environment, this is the tournament for you!
- The tournament will take place Thursday, July 28th and Friday, July 29th. All matches will start at approximately 1:00 PM Eastern time each day.
- You can view the rules and prize list right here. 62,500 crowns is the grand prize, and more prizes may be added as the tournament draws closer.
- Tournament matches will be livestreamed so you can catch all the action. Livestreams will start at approximately 12:30 PM Eastern time each day.
