Hey everyone!

As most of you know, I’m an avid derby racer. When I first started to develop my racing pets, there weren’t many resources to help me out. After all, derby has never enjoyed the popularity that PvP has. When I ask people why they don’t race, the answer is usually the same: Making derby pets is hard and time consuming (especially when doing it on your own). That’s why I’ve wanted to create a derby hatching group for years now. Unfortunately, things never seemed to fall into place … until now.

Yesterday, a derby hatching group called “The Finish Line” was born! Caspeen, Patrick FairyStalker, and I have teamed up to share our racing pets with the Wizard101 community. By doing this, we hope to inspire others to race and get involved in a mostly unexplored aspect of the game. It may be daunting at first, but I promise – it’s worth it! If you’ve ever wanted to tackle derby but thought your pet wasn’t good enough, now is the time to try and improve it! Anyone can be a racer if they believe they can. It just takes some patience and hard work (like anything that’s rewarding).
